The Highland Institute

The Highland Institute (THI), based in Kohima, Nagaland, India, is an independent interdisciplinary research centre and a key partner institution within the Ekologos Project. Research findings are disseminated through peer-reviewed publications, academic conferences, policy dialogues, public engagement initiatives, and multimedia outputs. Supported by an international network of research fellows and collaborators, the Institute facilitates collaborative research projects, scholarly exchanges, postgraduate training programmes, and community-engaged initiatives.
