Outcomes

The outcome of this project is a production of the app named “LUMI” which means “women” in Khezha dialect. This app is designed to provide a platform for rural women of age group 18-45 years to come together and discuss their problems and issues and received moral support. Nagaland being a patriarchal society, there are times when women faced a lot of problems like domestic violence, health problems, marriage problems, etc. So this app is designed to help women come and share their problems and motivate and encourage each other. This app will be strictly anonymous and monitored in the sense that no personal data or misuse of the app will be made. The app is also highlighting more on mental health issues as this is considered as a stigma and not talked about upfront in many communities.
